Carlos Alberto Soares could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Jacek Fleszar made a huge save. In the 20th minute, Evaristo de Souza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Igor Burdzel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30thth minute of the game Stasio Wiater who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Catugi FC's Paulo Gaizkine was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Carlos Alberto Soares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Jacek Fleszar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, Maciej Pietrowski notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Catugi FC's Paulo Gaizkine. Paulo Gaizkine was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 47th match minute, Catugi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernesto de Amaral to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carlos Alberto Soares was the one to do the kick off. Jacek Fleszar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. If Walmir Pombal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to KP Karmel getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Stasio Wiater hit a great ball. 75 minutes into the game, Miromir Solak was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KP Karmel's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Catugi FC the free kick. In the 76th minute of the match Erik Sanches shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jacek Fleszar showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. KP Karmel's Jacek Fleszar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walmir Pombal in the 79th minute of play. In the 82ndth minute of the game Carlos Alberto Soares who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KP Karmel's Jacek Fleszar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 88th minute Stasio Kloczko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Gaizkine saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle sounded KP Karmel left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Catugi FC.
