Iker Flores charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iker Flores the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Sobrecastell UD getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edur Tarin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alfredo Rulli's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Sobrecastell UD's zone, Pim Fortuin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edur Tarin came out of the goal and Pim Fortuin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Sheep United fans' excitement grew in the 46th match minute when Sheep United's Alfredo Rulli looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After the first half Sheep United were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Isidoro Thomas made a kick off. If Isidoro Thomas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sobrecastell UD's Edur Tarin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Sobrecastell UD from getting a goal against them. Edur Tarin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerrit Stubbe in the 55th minute of play. After 59 minutes of play, Sheep United's Isidoro Thomas made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edur Tarin was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 71st minute, Francisco Gonzáles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 73rd minute Diego Sánchez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edur Tarin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edur Tarin made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Isidoro Thomas sent off a good shot on target. With splendid footwork Isidoro Thomas arrived in front of goal to shoot 0-7 by the left pole in the game's 96th minute. Sheep United played a much better game than Sobrecastell UD and deserved their victory. The Sobrecastell UD players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
