The crowd rose to their feet as C.A.River Plate's Perrando Osaviaga slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Reko Nybacka. That made the score 4-0 after 39 minutes of play. 42 minutes into the match, C.A.River Plate's Talha Özakan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Reko Nybacka narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Reko Nybacka was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 95th minute, Perrando Osaviaga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
