With a little luck, Szalone Konie's Lech Jaruzelski got control of the ball when Suleiman Süleyman tried to sneak it across the goal line. 23 minutes had been played when some careless play by Szalone Konie's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Florin Răducioiu was slow to take the kick. During this time Peretu City 09's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Florin Răducioiu almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Szalone Konie's Lech Jaruzelski did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Suleiman Süleyman in the 24th minute of play forced Szalone Konie's goalkeeper Lech Jaruzelski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peretu City 09's attentive Ştefan Buhăescu managed to snatch the ball when Waclaw Pionek made a throw-in in the 26th minute of the game. In the 31st minute of the match Peretu City 09 got a corner. Szalone Konie's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Florin Răducioiu ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Peretu City 09's Babhruvahana Von Bischhoffshausen to fire away a dangerous shot which Lech Jaruzelski despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Concetto Milani in the 35th minute of play forced Peretu City 09's goalkeeper Francesco Toldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peretu City 09's Suleiman Süleyman got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Francesco Toldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kacper Wilk, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After some fancy dribbling in the 50th minute, Concetto Milani managed to get in a good position for a shot. Szalone Konie's supporters rose to their feet, but Concetto Milani was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Francesco Toldo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 54 minutes into the game, Mei Chong Kang cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Lech Jaruzelski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 60 played minutes Peretu City 09 got a freekick which was hit by Mei Chong Kang. When Peretu City 09's Suleiman Süleyman in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Szalone Konie's goalie prevented a goal. Szalone Konie made a substitution. Slawomir Jaraczeski replaced Concetto Milani. The corner ended in Kacper Wilk almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Peretu City 09's Francesco Toldo did a great save. Francesco Toldo stood somewhat misplaced when Kacper Wilk came free in front of goal and shot 1-2 to the left of him in the 69 minute. Vasile Neicu's late challenge caught a Szalone Konie's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vasile Neicu helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Peretu City 09 getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Vasile Neicu hit a great ball. If Jordi Dann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th minute, Vasile Neicu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 82 minutes into the match, Suleiman Süleyman notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Szalone Konie's Lech Jaruzelski. Lech Jaruzelski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 87 minutes into the match, Suleiman Süleyman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lech Jaruzelski. Szalone Konie's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Suleiman Süleyman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Mei Chong Kang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lech Jaruzelski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mei Chong Kang's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. After a rather tough play, Szalone Konie's Waclaw Pionek got a free kick in the 94th minute. Suleiman Süleyman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lech Jaruzelski having to interfere. The Peretu City 09 support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
