In the 5th minute, Ronaldinho Fenomeno ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dennis Beerthuis was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Dennis Beerthuis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldinho Fenomeno in the 10th minute of the match. The supporters of Winthont FC booed when AS Pikachuzim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacinto Veiga didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14th minute, Ronaldinho Fenomeno made a precise shot to the right of Dennis Beerthuis. Winthont FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. 17 minutes into the match, Winthont FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldinho Fenomeno came free, but Dennis Beerthuis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. AS Pikachuzim were awarded a corner in the 19th minute after Winthont FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Santos Rallo took the corner. Pascal Zalm succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-3 in the 21st playminute. Dennis Beerthuis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ronaldinho Fenomeno went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Winthont FC's goalkeeper Dennis Beerthuis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dennis Beerthuis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ronaldinho Fenomeno's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Winthont FC's goalkeeper Dennis Beerthuis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 41st minute of the match AS Pikachuzim got a corner. Winthont FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Santos Rallo ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led AS Pikachuzim's Wiliam Furtado to fire away a dangerous shot which Dennis Beerthuis despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 45 minutes in the game, Ronaldinho Fenomeno dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

Ronaldinho Fenomeno's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dennis Beerthuis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Winthont FC defense, Ronaldinho Fenomeno kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dennis Beerthuis. The Winthont FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dennis Beerthuis should have stopped the shot. Winthont FC's Dennis Beerthuis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Winthont FC from getting a goal against them. Dennis Beerthuis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldinho Fenomeno in the 60th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pascal Zalm in the 65th minute of play forced AS Pikachuzim's goalkeeper Oliverio Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ronaldinho Fenomeno in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dennis Beerthuis saved Winthont FC from getting behind. 74 minutes into the match, Winthont FC's goalkeeper Dennis Beerthuis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ronaldinho Fenomeno. AS Pikachuzim made a substitution. Lauro Cearense replaced Santos Rallo. 81 minutes into the game, Winthont FC's Pascal Zalm nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Oliverio Kahn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-6. Arif Oğuz Semdin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Dennis Beerthuis made a huge save. In the 90th minute, Arif Oğuz Semdin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AS Pikachuzim fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-7. After 94 played minutes Winthont FC got a freekick which was hit by Pascal Zalm. In the 96thth minute of the game Arif Oğuz Semdin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Winthont FC's Dennis Beerthuis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. AS Pikachuzim's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
