Pascal Zalm started the match with the kick off. 2 minutes into the match, Winthont FC's goal looked a bit too open when Reginaldo Dias came free, but Dennis Beerthuis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abilio Pages during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 5th match minute, Winthont FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abilio Pages to maneuver through the defense. Pascal Zalm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lyle Flanagan having to interfere. The supporters of EL LOBO DE MIAMI booed when Winthont FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geert Arend Roodenburg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 12th minute Stig-Ove Möller shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dennis Beerthuis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute, Bart Timmons left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The EL LOBO DE MIAMI fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. EL LOBO DE MIAMI's Lyle Flanagan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abilio Pages in the 21st minute of play. In the 25th minute, Reginaldo Dias made a precise shot to the right of Dennis Beerthuis. Winthont FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Abilio Pages was shown his second yellow card after 39 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Winthont FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Abilio Pages hit a great ball. In the 45th match minute, EL LOBO DE MIAMI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paolo Golts to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stig-Ove Möller stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hermengildo Nesor in the 54th minute of play forced EL LOBO DE MIAMI's goalkeeper Lyle Flanagan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Winthont FC's goalkeeper Dennis Beerthuis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stig-Ove Möller. Dennis Beerthuis came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by EL LOBO DE MIAMI's Reginaldo Dias. But to his dismay, Reginaldo Dias quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. The supporters of Winthont FC booed when EL LOBO DE MIAMI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bart Timmons didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64th minute, Bart Timmons hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67th minute Giuseppe Conway suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Henrique Ramalho during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Henrique Ramalho kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. EL LOBO DE MIAMI's Cristiano Trezeguet was substituted for Reginaldo Dias. Stig-Ove Möller sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 86th minute, Paolo Golts hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hermengildo Nesor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lyle Flanagan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. After having played for 88 minutes, Stig-Ove Möller managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. EL LOBO DE MIAMI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stig-Ove Möller was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 91 played minutes Winthont FC got a freekick which was hit by Pascal Zalm. Jerson Gonzales could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Dennis Beerthuis made a huge save. After having played for 95 minutes, Cristiano Trezeguet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. EL LOBO DE MIAMI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristiano Trezeguet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The EL LOBO DE MIAMI players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
