OROTINENSE's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stig-Åke Gabrielsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Viola Invest's Dumitru Doloman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Viola Invest from getting a goal against them. Dumitru Doloman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Songurhan Mete in the 23rd minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, OROTINENSE's goal looked a bit too open when Kuuno Tälli came free, but Liu Yong Yong reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mario Jakobe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Liu Yong Yong having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Songurhan Mete in the 34th minute of play forced Viola Invest's goalkeeper Dumitru Doloman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Reinaldo Medina kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Jakobe in the 43rd minute of play forced OROTINENSE's goalkeeper Liu Yong Yong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 44 played minutes OROTINENSE got a freekick which was hit by Diego Palma. Parvan Hadzhipetkov hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. In the 46th minute Stig-Åke Gabrielsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Liu Yong Yong saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Stig-Åke Gabrielsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Liu Yong Yong having to interfere. In the 66th minute, Gavril Anghelescu made a precise shot to the right of Liu Yong Yong. OROTINENSE's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Liu Yong Yong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kuuno Tälli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 71 minutes into the match, Viola Invest's Gavril Anghelescu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Liu Yong Yong narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Songurhan Mete had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. OROTINENSE's Leonel Cisneros was substituted for Jesus Cortez. Jakub Jazowski hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Dumitru Doloman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iordache Opincaru in the 95th minute of the match.
