Arlindo Silva didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Stig-Åke Gabrielsson went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Nankatsu SC defense, Stig-Åke Gabrielsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arlindo Silva. The Nankatsu SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arlindo Silva should have stopped the shot. When Müfit Özgen came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Nankatsu SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Müfit Özgen couldn't finish the play. In the 45th minute Stig-Åke Gabrielsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arlindo Silva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gavril Anghelescu in the 47th minute of play forced Nankatsu SC's goalkeeper Arlindo Silva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Viola Invest's goalkeeper Dumitru Doloman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
