In the 8thth minute of the game Gernando Proença who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GynBsb's Frederico Bertassi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Chico Albuquerque made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vivaldo Fernandes in the 12th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Enéas Carneiro in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Frederico Bertassi saved GynBsb from getting behind. Cauã Toledo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Frederico Bertassi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, Danone CC's goalkeeper Chico Albuquerque had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fellipe Cosme. After 37 minutes, Mané Novaes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Danone CC and the GynBsb players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 37 played minutes Danone CC got a freekick which was hit by Mané Novaes. Chico Albuquerque was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tiso Posse showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 38 minute of play. Chico Albuquerque showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fellipe Cosme, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Chico Albuquerque made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fellipe Cosme in the 43rd minute. Chico Albuquerque took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paul Danielsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paul Danielsson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Chico Albuquerque came out and tried to block the shot, but Paul Danielsson slotted it home off the left post making it 5-0 in the 46th minute.

Danone CC's Ademir Aparecido was substituted for Oséas Chaves. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vivaldo Fernandes to make the kick off. Danone CC's Edmundo Gol got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Danone CC's Chico Albuquerque played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vivaldo Fernandes in the 83rd minute of play. In the 85th minute Vivaldo Fernandes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chico Albuquerque saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, GynBsb's goal looked a bit too open when Júlio Pena came free, but Frederico Bertassi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91st minute, Paul Danielsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GynBsb fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. After some careless play in the Danone CC defense, Fellipe Cosme kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Chico Albuquerque. The Danone CC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Chico Albuquerque should have stopped the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. GynBsb fully deserved thier win.
