Thanks to some nice moves Dário Mesquita could shoot a difficult shot in the 15th minute, which Oscar Frascuelo however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Txema Abadie in the 16th minute of play forced Danone CC's goalkeeper Chico Albuquerque to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Octavia's Oscar Frascuelo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Octavia from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dário Mesquita got free with Oscar Frascuelo in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With an all-out effort, Danone CC's Oscar Frascuelo threw himself towards the right post 25 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gernando Proença, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gernando Proença in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oscar Frascuelo saved Octavia from getting behind. Danone CC's Chico Albuquerque played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Txema Abadie in the 29th minute of play. In the 33rd match minute, Danone CC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ademir Aparecido to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Jobo Abel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Chico Albuquerque was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Oscar Frascuelo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gernando Proença in the 35th minute of play. In the 38th minute Iordanis Anastasiadis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chico Albuquerque saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jobo Abel was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Octavia's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Gol came free, but Oscar Frascuelo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Danone CC booed when Octavia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaueko Abechuco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chico Albuquerque showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jobo Abel in the 74th minute of the match. Oscar Frascuelo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dário Mesquita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oscar Frascuelo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dário Mesquita in the 79th minute of play. Cauã Toledo took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Oscar Frascuelo. Oscar Frascuelo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Iordanis Anastasiadis came free with the goalkeeper in the 87th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Chico Albuquerque could save by the left post. 89 minutes into the match, Octavia's goal looked a bit too open when Cauã Toledo came free, but Oscar Frascuelo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oscar Frascuelo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gernando Proença, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Danone CC's Chico Albuquerque proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Danone CC from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Danone CC had won after a very even match.
