Spectators: 143 (Terracing: 108, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Carroll Gentenaar kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute, Patricio Cisco fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Nataniel de la Rosa, passed just outside the right post. Pablo Abeijon kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timoteo Vito in the 11th minute of play forced TotoRACING's goalkeeper Nataniel de la Rosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 14 minutes, Edelmiro Thomas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the As de Copas and the TotoRACING players grew even worse after the yellow card. Edelmiro Thomas hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Pablo Abeijon managed to get in a good position for a shot. As de Copas's supporters rose to their feet, but Pablo Abeijon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nataniel de la Rosa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Patricio Cisco came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the As de Copas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patricio Cisco couldn't finish the play. After 24 minutes, Jarbas Queirós mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the TotoRACING and the As de Copas players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, TotoRACING's Jarbas Queirós got a free kick in the 24th minute. Alberto Ulizes's late challenge caught a TotoRACING's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alberto Ulizes helped the player get up and apologised. In the 29th match minute, As de Copas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Ulizes to maneuver through the defense. Nataniel de la Rosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Cisco in the 31st minute of play. As de Copas's Robert Rosiewicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carroll Gentenaar in the 35th minute of play. Patricio Cisco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 45th minute, Marijan Kempes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marijan Kempes kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Patricio Cisco to make the kick off. Robert Rosiewicz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carroll Gentenaar in the 55th minute. Nataniel de la Rosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Cisco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 58 minutes, Alberto Ulizes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. As de Copas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberto Ulizes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nataniel de la Rosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pablo Abeijon in the 66th minute of the match. TotoRACING's Nataniel de la Rosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marijan Kempes in the 67th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in TotoRACING's zone, Pablo Abeijon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nataniel de la Rosa came out of the goal and Pablo Abeijon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the TotoRACING defense, Pablo Abeijon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nataniel de la Rosa. The TotoRACING fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nataniel de la Rosa should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Patricio Cisco managed to get in a good position for a shot. As de Copas's supporters rose to their feet, but Patricio Cisco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nataniel de la Rosa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 87th minute Pablo Abeijon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nataniel de la Rosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 90 played minutes As de Copas got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Aimar.
