In the 8th minute of the match As de Copas got a corner. UD ZAS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Timoteo Vito ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Timoteo Vito got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Denis Dolmos quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After some careless play in the As de Copas defense, He Zheng Xing kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leon Firmin. The As de Copas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leon Firmin should have stopped the shot. As de Copas's Leon Firmin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by He Zheng Xing in the 13th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, As de Copas's goal looked a bit too open when Wayne Rooney came free, but Leon Firmin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wayne Rooney in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leon Firmin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Leon Firmin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from He Zheng Xing went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 21 minutes into the game, As de Copas's Patricio Cisco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Denis Dolmos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. With an all-out effort, As de Copas's Denis Dolmos threw himself towards the right post 23 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Patricio Cisco, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. As de Copas were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after UD ZAS's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Timoteo Vito took the corner. After taking down the ball on As de Copas's corner Alberto Ulizes fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Denis Dolmos quite easily take care of the ball. As de Copas's Leon Firmin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florin Urmasu in the 27th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by He Zheng Xing in the 29th minute of play forced As de Copas's goalkeeper Leon Firmin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of UD ZAS booed when As de Copas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eleuterio Esquipula didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Bumin Oğuzcan managed to get in a good position for a shot. UD ZAS's supporters rose to their feet, but Bumin Oğuzcan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leon Firmin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Narciso Farias was the one to do the kick off. He Zheng Xing could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Leon Firmin made a huge save. 53 minutes into the game, UD ZAS's Bumin Oğuzcan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leon Firmin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. In the 57th match minute, As de Copas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Cisco to maneuver through the defense. As de Copas made a substitution. Marijan Kempes replaced Pablo Abeijon. Leon Firmin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bumin Oğuzcan, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Leon Firmin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carcelén Vicente went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. UD ZAS made a substitution. Adriano Antúnez replaced Bumin Oğuzcan. Denis Dolmos came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by As de Copas's Marijan Kempes. But to his dismay, Marijan Kempes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-5. Adriano Antúnez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leon Firmin having to interfere. After a rather tough play, As de Copas's Eleuterio Esquipula got a free kick in the 75th minute. UD ZAS's Wayne Rooney got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Denis Dolmos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marijan Kempes went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-5 was the resulting score. Adriano Antúnez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Leon Firmin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adriano Antúnez in the 90th minute of the match. With his leg Leon Firmin managed to avoid a goal in the 92ndth minute, when UD ZAS's Adriano Antúnez fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 93 minutes into the match, UD ZAS's goal looked a bit too open when Marijan Kempes came free, but Denis Dolmos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match was over UD ZAS could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than As de Copas throughout the match.
