An unexpectedly hard shot by Jiang Sha in the 16th minute of play forced Injuries's goalkeeper Zorko Quack to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zorko Quack showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jiang Sha, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 18th minute Santiago Abreu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zorko Quack saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Celestiales's Iker Madrid got control of the ball when Teddy Tholsted tried to sneak it across the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Runar Flou stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Injuries's goalkeeper Zorko Quack, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 55 minutes into the match, Injuries's goalkeeper Zorko Quack had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jiang Sha. During the 90th minute of the match Eric Backmann completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Eric Backmann a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 90 played minutes Injuries got a freekick which was hit by Eric Backmann. Eustaquio Eudoxio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Zorko Quack came out and tried to block the shot, but Eustaquio Eudoxio slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 92nd minute. The Celestiales players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
