In the 25th minute Gilson Meirelles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emil Hägg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Juventudes Libertárias's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Lindsten came free, but Alisson Becker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alisson Becker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Lindsten in the 38th minute of the match. A collision led to Juventudes Libertárias getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Amílton Alvarenga hit a great ball. 42 minutes into the match, Adriano Croti notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Juventudes Libertárias's Alisson Becker. Alisson Becker was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 45th minute, Agostinho Almeida hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Agostinho Almeida to make the kick off. If Adriano Croti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Adriano Croti had several of the Juventudes Libertárias's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 52 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-2 score and a disappointed Alisson Becker as he didn't even see the shot coming. Thanks to some nice moves Riki Čapo could shoot a difficult shot in the 58th minute, which Alisson Becker however easily saved by the left post. Cícero Koehler hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Edson Braddock fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emil Hägg having to interfere. Bajenland's Wilhelm Alstedt was substituted for Jonathan Lindsten. Emil Hägg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agostinho Almeida in the 71st minute of play. With a little luck, Juventudes Libertárias's Alisson Becker got control of the ball when Adriano Croti tried to sneak it across the goal line. Adriano Croti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juventudes Libertárias's Alisson Becker proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Juventudes Libertárias from getting a goal against them. The corner ended in Kennedy Bryngelsson almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Juventudes Libertárias's Alisson Becker did a great save.
