FC Alkomaty's Dominik Spychalski got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dominik Spychalski was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Karhulan Veikot getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Stamatis Kritikos hit a great ball. 57 minutes into the match, FC Alkomaty's Dominik Spychalski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cássio Ramos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 93rd minute, Dominik Spychalski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cássio Ramos was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dominik Spychalski in the 96th minute of play forced Karhulan Veikot's goalkeeper Cássio Ramos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The FC Alkomaty support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
