The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Leicester Lions's Grant Blacknell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Meier in the 6th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, SalentoUnited's goal looked a bit too open when Bobby Pirés came free, but Bunda Grande reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 13 minutes of play, SalentoUnited's Urbano Hotz made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Grant Blacknell was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bunda Grande showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Darling, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Bunda Grande showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bobby Pirés in the 22nd minute of the match. Bunda Grande made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benny White in the 23rd minute of play. In the 26th minute Bobby Pirés shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bunda Grande saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Leicester Lions's goalkeeper Grant Blacknell had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frasier Huber. Bunda Grande took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camron Rhodes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the SalentoUnited defense, Lucas Darling kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bunda Grande. The SalentoUnited fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bunda Grande should have stopped the shot. Grant Blacknell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Octavius Gräf, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. 35 minutes into the match, Leicester Lions's goalkeeper Grant Blacknell had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Peter Marti. Grant Blacknell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter Marti in the 36th minute of play. In the 37thth minute of the game Bobby Pirés who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SalentoUnited's Bunda Grande was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 40th minute Bobby Pirés shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bunda Grande saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Grant Blacknell came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by SalentoUnited's Edgar Meier. But to his dismay, Edgar Meier quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After 45 played minutes SalentoUnited got a freekick which was hit by Fox Aiello. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

SalentoUnited's Bunda Grande proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save SalentoUnited from getting a goal against them. SalentoUnited's Alexis Veterini was substituted for Urbano Hotz. With his leg Bunda Grande managed to avoid a goal in the 76thth minute, when Leicester Lions's Camron Rhodes fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Bunda Grande showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bobby Pirés, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Grant Blacknell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octavius Gräf in the 79th minute of the match. Tony Cheeseman kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Leicester Lions made a substitution. Connor Branston replaced Lucas Darling. After 82 minutes of play, SalentoUnited's Franziskus Spillmann made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Grant Blacknell was left in no man's land by his defense there! Camron Rhodes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Bunda Grande made a huge save. SalentoUnited's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
