With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jens-Erik Källberg in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Buford Lim saved Quebec city FC from getting behind. In the 16th match minute, Brandbergen Bears was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albert Nord to maneuver through the defense. Dennis Unesson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicky Lacharité in the 20th minute of play. Buford Lim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jens-Erik Källberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 24 minutes into the match, Brandbergen Bears's goal looked a bit too open when Jerrell Wooten came free, but Dennis Unesson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jakob Fredriksson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dennis Unesson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicky Lacharité, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Jens-Erik Källberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Buford Lim made a huge save. 33 minutes into the match, Quebec city FC's goalkeeper Buford Lim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jens-Erik Källberg. When Dwain Barth fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Quebec city FC's protests and gave Dwain Barth a yellow card for diving instead. Jakob Fredriksson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Buford Lim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pat Grier got free with Dennis Unesson in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 75 played minutes Quebec city FC got a freekick which was hit by Merrill Rochon. Buford Lim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jakob Fredriksson, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. After 77 minutes, Per-Erik Tunberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brandbergen Bears and the Quebec city FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dennis Unesson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jerrell Wooten showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 88 minute of play. The Quebec city FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Quebec city FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
