PHOENIX SC's Ronan McCunn got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Ruzgar Gibi Geçti's zone, Ronan McCunn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sikstas Ferdi came out of the goal and Ronan McCunn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 14th minute of the game. One of PHOENIX SC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ruzgar Gibi Geçti:s goal. When the match had been going on for 15 minutes, Ruzgar Gibi Geçti's Ray Ruth got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Ray Clemence. After some careless play in the Ruzgar Gibi Geçti defense, Ronan McCunn kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sikstas Ferdi. The Ruzgar Gibi Geçti fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sikstas Ferdi should have stopped the shot. 22 minutes into the match, Ruzgar Gibi Geçti's goal looked a bit too open when Ronan McCunn came free, but Sikstas Ferdi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ray Ruth in the 24thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ray Clemence, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Yiğit Can Sungur was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. PHOENIX SC's Ray Clemence proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save PHOENIX SC from getting a goal against them. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind PHOENIX SC's goalkeeper Ray Clemence, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 39 minutes PHOENIX SC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rómeó Julia who took care of the corner kick. PHOENIX SC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 68 minutes into the game, Cabbar Müfit was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ruzgar Gibi Geçti's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PHOENIX SC the free kick. The supporters of PHOENIX SC booed when Ruzgar Gibi Geçti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cabbar Müfit didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 74th match minute, Ruzgar Gibi Geçti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Corneliu Corocăescu to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 74 minutes, Hanung Sephtianda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PHOENIX SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hanung Sephtianda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After taking down the ball on PHOENIX SC's corner Attila Toldi fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sikstas Ferdi quite easily take care of the ball. Sikstas Ferdi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samai Asmawan in the 81st minute of play. Samai Asmawan struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Sikstas Ferdi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PHOENIX SC. After 84 minutes of play, Ruzgar Gibi Geçti's Ray Ruth made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ray Clemence was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ruzgar Gibi Geçti's Sikstas Ferdi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samai Asmawan in the 88th minute of play. Ray Clemence showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ray Ruth, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. PHOENIX SC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
