Barnaba Pilsudski's late challenge caught a Alijilán returns's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Barnaba Pilsudski helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, FC Gullegem's Barnaba Pilsudski got a free kick in the 16th minute. In the 17th minute of the match Jairo Dalmai sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Axell Verduin skillfully saved the ball. With a little luck, FC Gullegem's Axell Verduin got control of the ball when Co Bayo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Axell Verduin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cyprian Sroki, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Cyprian Sroki kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Axell Verduin. That made the score 1-1 in the 26 minute of play. Aytuğ Aral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Gullegem's Matty Bormans managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jacobo Azubeli in the 32 minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cyprian Sroki got free with Axell Verduin in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Axell Verduin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cyprian Sroki in the 36th minute of the match. In the 42nd minute, Barnaba Pilsudski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Gullegem fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cyprian Sroki in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Axell Verduin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Alijilán returns players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Gullegem were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Barnaba Pilsudski was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Alijilán returns's Victor Erauso got control of the ball when Barnaba Pilsudski tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 56th minute, Aytuğ Aral made a precise shot to the right of Axell Verduin. FC Gullegem's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Barnaba Pilsudski received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alijilán returns's goalkeeper Victor Erauso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jacobo Azubeli made in the 78th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by FC Gullegem's Matty Bormans. 79 minutes into the match, Barnaba Pilsudski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Victor Erauso. Alijilán returns's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Barnaba Pilsudski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. FC Gullegem's Axell Verduin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aytuğ Aral in the 82nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adilson Rocha in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Axell Verduin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cyprian Sroki took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Axell Verduin. Axell Verduin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-4. The throw-in from Jacobo Azubeli in the 89th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FC Gullegem's Matty Bormans.
