In the 4th minute Ziemowit Kinic shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Axell Verduin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Axell Verduin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ziemowit Kinic, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Axell Verduin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvaro Giusto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 齐平宁 made in the 13th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which 齐平宁 however managed to control. 16 minutes into the match, FC Gullegem's Barnaba Pilsudski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Motta Rello narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 18 minutes, Barnaba Pilsudski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Gullegem and the San Michele AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of San Michele AFC booed when FC Gullegem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Barnaba Pilsudski didn't get a good kick on the ball. San Michele AFC's Motta Rello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barnaba Pilsudski in the 24th minute of play. The throw-in from 齐平宁 in the 25th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FC Gullegem's Matty Bormans. 26 minutes into the match, San Michele AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Barnaba Pilsudski came free, but Motta Rello reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Barnaba Pilsudski in the 27th minute of play forced San Michele AFC's goalkeeper Motta Rello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When 齐平宁 fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored San Michele AFC's protests and gave 齐平宁 a yellow card for diving instead. In the 29th minute, 齐平宁 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pieter Teurfs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Motta Rello having to interfere. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind San Michele AFC's goalkeeper Motta Rello, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A beautiful save bye FC Gullegem's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 48 minutes, Beila Mora put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Axell Verduin. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Barnaba Pilsudski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Axell Verduin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alvaro Giusto went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. 59 minutes into the match, Alvaro Giusto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Axell Verduin. FC Gullegem's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alvaro Giusto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. 齐平宁 made in the 62nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by FC Gullegem's Matty Bormans. In the 67th minute, Barnaba Pilsudski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Gullegem fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. In the 70th match minute, San Michele AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dennis Mosca to maneuver through the defense. In the 71st minute, Barnaba Pilsudski made a precise shot to the right of Motta Rello. San Michele AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. Dennis Mosca made in the 76th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by FC Gullegem's Matty Bormans. San Michele AFC were awarded a corner in the 81th minute after FC Gullegem's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ziemowit Kinic took the corner. After recieving a nice pass, San Michele AFC's Ziemowit Kinic tried to score from far away in the 84th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. FC Gullegem's supporters rose to their feet, but Matty Bormans was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Motta Rello breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 94 played minutes FC Gullegem got a freekick which was hit by Gertjan De Geyter. Ziemowit Kinic, 95 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Carlo Corna charged in rather forcefully in the 97th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carlo Corna the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of FC Gullegem booed when San Michele AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlo Corna didn't get a good kick on the ball. San Michele AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
