In the 22nd minute, American Top Team's Charles Eason seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Charles Eason the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of American Top Team protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Charles Eason had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 21 minutes into the game, one of American Top Team:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Delta FS a penalty, 23 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Napoleon Tylenda, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of American Top Team's Jarrett Rosenberg. 0-3. In the 26th minute Andaka Lao shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jarrett Rosenberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of American Top Team booed when Delta FS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Napoleon Tylenda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gualter Roriz was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Enrique Hutchison. American Top Team's Jarrett Rosenberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Napoleon Tylenda in the 44th minute of play.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Andaka Lao got free with Jarrett Rosenberg in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 57 minutes into the match, American Top Team's goalkeeper Jarrett Rosenberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andaka Lao. With a little luck, American Top Team's Jarrett Rosenberg got control of the ball when Matias Corte-Real tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Matias Corte-Real kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jarrett Rosenberg. That made the score 0-6 in the 78 minute of play. Jarrett Rosenberg was a little too slow when Amedeo De Matteis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 84th minute. The score was now 0-7. In the 89th minute, Matias Corte-Real ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jarrett Rosenberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. A collision led to American Top Team getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Eddy Simons hit a great ball. American Top Team's Jarrett Rosenberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Napoleon Tylenda in the 93rd minute of play.
