In the 13th minute EL CERVECERO F.C. were awarded a corner. Radomir Tomiczek went to the cornerflag to take it. A collision led to EL CERVECERO F.C. getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Ernesto Playo hit a great ball. Leo Polentzi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Morgan Wilkerson in the 19th minute. Morgan Wilkerson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leo Polentzi having to interfere. Jarrett Rosenberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ernesto Playo's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. After a defensive mix-up in American Top Team's zone, Carmelo Chuse stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jarrett Rosenberg came out of the goal and Carmelo Chuse tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 29th minute, Ernesto Playo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Morgan Wilkerson got free with Leo Polentzi in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnout Scheerens in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jarrett Rosenberg saved American Top Team from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Gabriel Jacobsen managed to get in a good position for a shot. American Top Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Gabriel Jacobsen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leo Polentzi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, EL CERVECERO F.C.'s Carmelo Chuse got a free kick in the 38th minute. 41 minutes into the game, EL CERVECERO F.C.'s Arnout Scheerens nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jarrett Rosenberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. 45 minutes into the match, American Top Team's goal looked a bit too open when Ernesto Playo came free, but Jarrett Rosenberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Isidoro Kimetz fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored EL CERVECERO F.C.'s protests and gave Isidoro Kimetz a yellow card for diving instead. 46 minutes into the game, one of EL CERVECERO F.C.:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Leo Polentzi had in the 48thth minute some difficulties stopping Enrique Hutchison's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arnout Scheerens was the one to do the kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 52 minutes, Jarrett Rosenberg successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the last second Jarrett Rosenberg throw himself and got hold of the ball when Ernesto Playo in the 52ndth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. After 52 minutes, Vaughn Dennison mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the American Top Team and the EL CERVECERO F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of EL CERVECERO F.C. booed when American Top Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vaughn Dennison didn't get a good kick on the ball. American Top Team's Jarrett Rosenberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save American Top Team from getting a goal against them. Gerardo Iraunkor ran back to his position shaking his head. Jarrett Rosenberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gerardo Iraunkor in the 85th minute. Jarrett Rosenberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernesto Playo, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gerardo Iraunkor in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jarrett Rosenberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
