The crowd rose to their feet as Kryspin Oryniak kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Christer Waaler. That made the score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. 14 minutes into the game, Ryszard Pilarski recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Christer Waaler. Ryszard Pilarski showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Ziemowit Domaracki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tor-Kristian Fosse, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Kryspin Oryniak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Christer Waaler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mykyta Yaremenko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Mario gool's CJ Robben got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Kryspin Oryniak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christer Waaler having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tor-Kristian Fosse in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ziemowit Domaracki saved Mario gool from getting behind. If Ryszard Pilarski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

In the 51st minute Kryspin Oryniak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christer Waaler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 52 minutes, Kryspin Oryniak made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Åsnes's Christer Waaler tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The Mario gool fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. In the 72ndth minute of the game Kryspin Oryniak who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Åsnes's Christer Waaler was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 75 minutes into the match, Kryspin Oryniak notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Åsnes's Christer Waaler. Christer Waaler was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Åsnes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christer Waaler should have stopped the shot. Kryspin Oryniak struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Christer Waaler didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mario gool. Max Langås made in the 93rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which John-Einar Bøen however managed to control. The Mario gool fans' excitement grew in the 94th match minute when Mario gool's Kryspin Oryniak looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. There was no doubt that Mario gool were the better team. Mario gool's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
