The crowd rose to their feet as FFC Merainies 03's Zé Pedro Montana slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Evert Mellberg. That made the score 4-0 after 43 minutes of play. In the 45th minute of the match, Zé Pedro Montana tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Evert Mellberg saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Łukasz Zwolinski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Evert Mellberg made a huge save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.
