The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Knight Of Dawn's Qiu Yuan Jun sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcus Silva narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Los Espinillos FC's Marcus Silva proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Los Espinillos FC from getting a goal against them. 8 minutes had been played when some careless play by Los Espinillos FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Celedonio Fonda was slow to take the kick. During this time Knight Of Dawn's players had a chance to rest. After a rather tough play, Knight Of Dawn's Qiu Yuan Jun got a free kick in the 8th minute. In the 12th minute, Serafino Quilo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcus Silva made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Qiu Yuan Jun sent off a good shot on target. Knight Of Dawn's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Celedonio Fonda in the 14th minute. The corner led to Knight Of Dawn's Gregorio Caton getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Qiu Yuan Jun struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Marcus Silva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Knight Of Dawn. Benito Rafe charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benito Rafe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 21st minute, Benito Rafe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice moves Qiu Yuan Jun could shoot a difficult shot in the 21st minute, which Marcus Silva however easily saved by the left post. With a little luck, Los Espinillos FC's Marcus Silva got control of the ball when Qiu Yuan Jun tried to sneak it across the goal line. Denis Urtats took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jimeno Gumaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 31 minutes into the match, Knight Of Dawn's Qiu Yuan Jun sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcus Silva narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Denis Urtats made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jimeno Gumaro in the 32nd minute of play. In the 34th minute Los Espinillos FC were awarded a corner. Claudio Barrionuevo went to the cornerflag to take it. 39 minutes had been played when some careless play by Los Espinillos FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Celedonio Fonda was slow to take the kick. During this time Knight Of Dawn's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Knight Of Dawn's Celedonio Fonda to fire away a dangerous shot which Marcus Silva despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Qiu Yuan Juns short, quick shot in the 48thth minute got Marcus Silva to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jimeno Gumaro to make the kick off. Qiu Yuan Jun took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcus Silva. Marcus Silva dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Knight Of Dawn's Danilo Matro was substituted for Gregorio Caton. A collision led to Los Espinillos FC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Fernando Janpier hit a great ball. Qiu Yuan Jun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Knight Of Dawn's defense didn't have a chance, in the 76th minute, when Fernando Janpier scored to the left of an out of position Denis Urtats, making the score, 1-1. Claudio Barrionuevo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcus Silva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Qiu Yuan Jun in the 82nd minute of the match. Qiu Yuan Jun's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcus Silva read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Zula Munko's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 88thth minute, Denis Urtats skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Qiu Yuan Jun blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcus Silva having to make a save. After 91 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Los Espinillos FC! 95 minutes into the match, Qiu Yuan Jun notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Los Espinillos FC's Marcus Silva. Marcus Silva was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Marcus Silva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Qiu Yuan Jun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Knight Of Dawn fans cheered their team off the field, for while Los Espinillos FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
