An unexpectedly hard shot by Stefanos Rigopoulos in the 23rd minute of play forced Universitario Pincharrata's goalkeeper Fabricio Mancio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nikos Andreadakis charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nikos Andreadakis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Universitario Pincharrata booed when Saronida FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nikos Andreadakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Universitario Pincharrata's Claudio Marangoni got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valerios Voutsas got free with Fabricio Mancio in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Valerios Voutsas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fabricio Mancio having to make a save. Fabricio Mancio made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Valerios Voutsas sent off a good shot on target. Fabricio Mancio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valerios Voutsas in the 34th minute. In the 36th minute of the match Saronida FC got a corner. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Valerios Voutsas made the kick off in the second half. Valerios Voutsas scored 2-0 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabricio Mancio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Saronida FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. When the referee blew the final whistle, Saronida FC could leave the field as winners, despite Universitario Pincharrata having more of the ball for most of the match.
