Aaron Van Herck hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. In the 9th match minute, Dark Energy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abdelhamid Hasni to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Dark Energy defense, Lucas Matos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mickael Spoelberghe. The Dark Energy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mickael Spoelberghe should have stopped the shot. Dark Energy's Mickael Spoelberghe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Matos in the 19th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lucas Matos in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mickael Spoelberghe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mickael Spoelberghe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Matos in the 24th minute of play. Locademia's Aristide Lung played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cacá de Barros in the 28th minute of play. Aristide Lung didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cacá de Barros went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 35th match minute, Dark Energy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robbrecht Van Boxstael to maneuver through the defense. Mickael Spoelberghe came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Locademia's Lucas Matos. But to his dismay, Lucas Matos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Dark Energy's Mickael Spoelberghe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaston Gaitan in the 42nd minute of play. The supporters of Locademia booed when Dark Energy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stefan Van Der Meeren didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lucas Matos was the one to do the kick off. Gaston Gaitan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mickael Spoelberghe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaston Gaitan, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. After 60 minutes, Abdelhamid Hasni mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dark Energy and the Locademia players grew even worse after the yellow card. 61 minutes into the match, Lucas Matos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mickael Spoelberghe. Dark Energy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lucas Matos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. When Lucas Matos came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Locademia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucas Matos couldn't finish the play. Dark Energy's David Vergau was substituted for Robbrecht Van Boxstael. Dark Energy made a substitution. Vic Poels replaced Dominic Van hoegaerde. A collision led to Dark Energy getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Gery Ceustermans hit a great ball. Mickael Spoelberghe was a little too slow when Lucas Matos got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 87th minute. The score was now 1-6. In the 90th minute Lucas Matos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mickael Spoelberghe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 92 minutes into the game, Locademia's Norbert Kiss nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mickael Spoelberghe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-7. Lucas Matos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Mickael Spoelberghe made a huge save. When the final whistle sounded Locademia left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Dark Energy.
