With a little luck, INIXET BK's Kent Näver got control of the ball when Niceto Bakar tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 35th minute of the match Hvam FC got a corner. INIXET BK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Naci Sezen ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Hvam FC's Naci Sezen to fire away a dangerous shot which Kent Näver despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 37 minutes into the match, INIXET BK's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Guimarães came free, but Kent Näver reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 42 played minutes INIXET BK got a freekick which was hit by Richard Fransson. If Bruno Guimarães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute Karl-Magnus Bergman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kristen Krasmer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sören Gregersson was the one to do the kick off. Kent Näver showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Guimarães, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Kent Näver showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Habakkuk Cole in the 62nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Habakkuk Cole in the 65th minute of play forced INIXET BK's goalkeeper Kent Näver to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hvam FC's goalkeeper Kristen Krasmer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 67th minute, Michel Larsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pål Svanberg kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. In the 78th minute, Sören Gregersson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kristen Krasmer was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bruno Guimarães in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kent Näver prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sören Gregersson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kristen Krasmer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Habakkuk Ferdinand notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of INIXET BK's Kent Näver. Kent Näver was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sören Gregersson did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-4 to the left of a surprised Kristen Krasmer 90 minutes into the match. Kent Näver made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Guimarães in the 95th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched INIXET BK eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
