After 13 played minutes Green Zombies got a freekick which was hit by Franciszek Sadlowski. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arturo Turner got free with Han Xiao Ting in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Han Xiao Ting made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arturo Turner in the 20th minute. With a little luck, Green Zombies's Han Xiao Ting got control of the ball when Arturo Turner tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Venedikt Semenov in the 25th minute of play forced Santos FC's goalkeeper Aaron Smallwood to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute Green Zombies were awarded a corner. Venedikt Semenov went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Venedikt Semenov got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Aaron Smallwood quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Aaron Smallwood showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zsigmond Tímár, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lanny Gilmore to make the kick off. Aaron Smallwood made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Walter Carter sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zsigmond Tímár in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aaron Smallwood prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zsigmond Tímár got free with Aaron Smallwood in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Franciszek Sadlowski kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Green Zombies made a substitution. Mihály Hidegkúti replaced Zsigmond Tímár. A collision led to Green Zombies getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Franciszek Sadlowski hit a great ball. 79 minutes into the match, Green Zombies's goal looked a bit too open when Tyron Velasquez came free, but Han Xiao Ting reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aaron Smallwood made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harun Mustafa in the 81st minute of play. Harun Mustafa scored 0-1 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aaron Smallwood, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Aaron Smallwood made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Walter Carter sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tyron Velasquez in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Han Xiao Ting saved Green Zombies from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mihály Hidegkúti in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aaron Smallwood prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the last second Aaron Smallwood throw himself and got hold of the ball when Mihály Hidegkúti in the 88thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. The supporters of Santos FC booed when Green Zombies was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ilie Zăvoiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 90th minute of the match Dominic Albright sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Han Xiao Ting skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to Green Zombies getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Roland Magos hit a great ball. In the 95th minute, Wilfredo Ulizes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Green Zombies had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
