VARGINHA FC's Juninho Leme quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Fredrik Fors, made in the 17th minute of the game. 20 minutes into the game, Juninho Leme threw the ball into play from the sideline. Cheetah Team's Gilbert Benett quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 27th minute Valter Mellin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dito Novaes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner ended in Egon Ahlbom almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but VARGINHA FC's Dito Novaes did a great save. Claes Caspersson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Álvaro Gaspar in the 36th minute of the match. Cheetah Team's attentive Gilbert Benett managed to snatch the ball when Juninho Leme made a throw-in in the 37th minute of the game. If Valter Mellin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rasmus Botvidsson in the 41stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dito Novaes, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Claes Caspersson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Álvaro Gaspar in the 42nd minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, VARGINHA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dick Forssell came free, but Dito Novaes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Josué Paiva in the 46th minute of play forced Cheetah Team's goalkeeper Claes Caspersson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Cheetah Team players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. VARGINHA FC were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Josué Paiva to make the kick off. In the 50th match minute, Cheetah Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilbert Benett to maneuver through the defense. Álvaro Gaspar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Claes Caspersson made a huge save. Dito Novaes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valter Mellin, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Cheetah Team's Valter Mellin got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Sivert Nord fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cheetah Team's protests and gave Sivert Nord a yellow card for diving instead. After 56 played minutes Cheetah Team got a freekick which was hit by Sivert Nord. In the 64th minute Valter Mellin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dito Novaes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dito Novaes came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Cheetah Team's Valter Mellin. But to his dismay, Valter Mellin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 69 minutes into the match, Cheetah Team's goalkeeper Claes Caspersson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Álvaro Gaspar. A throw-in in the 73rd minute of the game was made by Juninho Leme with Josué Paiva as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Claes Caspersson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Josué Paiva in the 74th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valter Mellin in the 75th minute of play forced VARGINHA FC's goalkeeper Dito Novaes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Álvaro Gaspar made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 82ndth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Claes Caspersson would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post.
