An unexpectedly hard shot by Geronimo Salomone in the 22nd minute of play forced Torreão OFF's goalkeeper Zézinho Freitas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zézinho Freitas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Godofredo Remigio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th match minute, Racing Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urbano Jago to maneuver through the defense. Torreão OFF's Zézinho Freitas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Godofredo Remigio in the 38th minute of play. Godofredo Remigio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Geronimo Salomone managed to get in a good position for a shot. Racing Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Geronimo Salomone was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zézinho Freitas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

51 minutes into the game, Torreão OFF's Ezequiel Ortiz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Olavo Henriques made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. After 55 played minutes Torreão OFF got a freekick which was hit by Bernard Budrewicz. Racing Club's Maksymilian Walaszkiewicz was substituted for Urbano Jago. Racing Club made a substitution. Fernandinho Rivera replaced Geronimo Salomone. Bernard Budrewicz kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Racing Club made a substitution. George Orwel replaced Godofredo Remigio. 70 minutes into the match, Racing Club's George Orwel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zézinho Freitas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 71 minutes had been played when some careless play by Torreão OFF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Eriberto Kimetz was slow to take the kick. During this time Racing Club's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Maksymilian Walaszkiewicz almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Torreão OFF's Zézinho Freitas did a great save. In the 75th minute, Jânio Lira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 77 minutes had been played when some careless play by Torreão OFF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Eriberto Kimetz was slow to take the kick. During this time Racing Club's players had a chance to rest. When Racing Club's George Orwel in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Torreão OFF's goalie prevented a goal. If Fernandinho Rivera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Racing Club's Olavo Henriques played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ezequiel Ortiz in the 93rd minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, Torreão OFF could leave the field as winners, despite Racing Club having more of the ball for most of the match.
