In the 14th minute Denílson Hermes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nikolay Bonkov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Garlic Eaters's goal looked a bit too open when Ezequiel Ortiz came free, but Nikolay Bonkov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Garlic Eaters getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Joel Afful hit a great ball. Ezequiel Ortiz scored 0-1 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nikolay Bonkov, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Garlic Eaters's Nikolay Bonkov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ezequiel Ortiz in the 35th minute of play. A throw-in in the 36th minute of the game was made by Joel Afful with Gerry Cheeseman as target, who quickly passed the ball forward.
