Kim Sørmo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivan Roldan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 10th minute, Sandu Olăroiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Lost in pace getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Long Wei Feng hit a great ball. Kim Sørmo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Philippe Egtved, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Aristides Jakue took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Øyvind Åsland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pancho Madaleno in the 24th minute of play forced Lost in pace's goalkeeper Kim Sørmo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Øyvind Åsland in the 25thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Aristides Jakue, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Aristides Jakue made an important save on a dangerous shot by Øyvind Åsland in the 29th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Ivan Roldan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kim Sørmo. Lost in pace's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ivan Roldan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 33 minutes into the match, Lost in pace's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Roldan came free, but Kim Sørmo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 34 minutes, Sandu Olăroiu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lost in pace's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sandu Olăroiu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Ivan Roldan came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Torbellino fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ivan Roldan couldn't finish the play. Kim Sørmo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivan Roldan in the 43rd minute of the match. After having played for 44 minutes, Urbano Guillelmo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Torbellino's supporters crossed their fingers, but Urbano Guillelmo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aristides Jakue made an important save on a dangerous shot by Øyvind Åsland in the 47th minute. After the first half Torbellino were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ivan Roldan was the one to do the kick off. With an all-out effort, Torbellino's Kim Sørmo threw himself towards the right post 54 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ivan Roldan, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 62nd minute, Pancho Madaleno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kim Sørmo made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Bombai Rosada sent off a good shot on target. Aristides Jakue showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stig Grønstad in the 68th minute of the match. Philippe Egtved hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. The supporters of Lost in pace booed when Torbellino was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Philippe Egtved didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Torbellino's zone, Stig Grønstad stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aristides Jakue came out of the goal and Stig Grønstad tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 80 minutes into the match, Torbellino's goal looked a bit too open when Sandu Olăroiu came free, but Aristides Jakue reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Bombai Rosada put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Kim Sørmo. In the 87th minute, Ivan Roldan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Torbellino fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. In the 90th minute of the match, Ivan Roldan tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Kim Sørmo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 92 minutes into the game, Pancho Madaleno recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Kim Sørmo. Pancho Madaleno showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. When the final whistle sounded Torbellino left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Lost in pace.
