Bernt Ånger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Esteban Salomon in the 10th minute of the match. Darío Friederichs came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by VERDOLAGA CITY FC's Xande Cavani. But to his dismay, Xande Cavani quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Bernt Ånger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Antonio Bertrand in the 31st minute of play. The throw-in from Fabian Brinker in the 37th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Nibiru X's Ysmael Guichard. Darío Friederichs was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Xande Cavani showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 39 minute of play. When Xande Cavani came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the VERDOLAGA CITY FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xande Cavani couldn't finish the play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

In the 53rd minute, Nibiru X's Esteban Salomon dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Through an outstanding action, after 59 minutes, Bernt Ånger successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Nibiru X's Román Grebe was substituted for Jose Rojas. A collision led to VERDOLAGA CITY FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Aresti Tello hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, Nibiru X's Bernt Ånger threw himself towards the right post 63 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Juan Antonio Bertrand, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Xande Cavani blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Darío Friederichs having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xande Cavani in the 64th minute of play forced Nibiru X's goalkeeper Darío Friederichs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Darío Friederichs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xande Cavani, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Bernt Ånger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Salomón Avendaño, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. 75 minutes into the match, Nibiru X's goal looked a bit too open when Oriche Isazi came free, but Darío Friederichs reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot by Román Grebe from long distance, 76 minutes into the match, got Bernt Ånger's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Salomón Avendaño's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Bernt Ånger firmly grabbed it by the left post. 80 minutes into the match, Juan Antonio Bertrand had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bernt Ånger. VERDOLAGA CITY FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Juan Antonio Bertrand was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. In the 82ndth minute of the game Salomón Avendaño who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but VERDOLAGA CITY FC's Bernt Ånger was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Nibiru X's Ysmael Guichard got a free kick in the 89th minute. Darío Friederichs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xande Cavani in the 92nd minute of play. In the 93rd minute of the match VERDOLAGA CITY FC got a corner. Nibiru X's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marcus Rashford ran over to the corner to take the kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Román Grebe got free with Bernt Ånger in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
