Liverpool FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Atletico Los Andes the free kick. 95 minutes into the match, Rodrigo-Nicolas De Paul had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mauri Tervo. Liverpool FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rodrigo-Nicolas De Paul was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. The Liverpool FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Club Atletico Los Andes were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
