Mauri Tervo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 6th match minute, FC Gdansk36 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matías de Lara to maneuver through the defense. Liverpool FC's Mauri Tervo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iggi Kot in the 8th minute of play. 9 minutes into the match, Liverpool FC's goal looked a bit too open when Iggi Kot came free, but Mauri Tervo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marek Kluczyk kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. A hard shot 25 in the game by Witomir Kochanowski from a close distance when the talented Mauri Tervo managed to make a qualified save. Liverpool FC's players were relieved. Iggi Kot took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mauri Tervo. Mauri Tervo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Mauri Tervo made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Witomir Kochanowski sent off a good shot on target. Liverpool FC's Mauri Tervo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Liverpool FC from getting a goal against them. A collision led to FC Gdansk36 getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Matías de Lara hit a great ball. Mauri Tervo came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Gdansk36's Jan Olisadebe. But to his dismay, Jan Olisadebe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jimi Lindström in the 40th minute of play forced FC Gdansk36's goalkeeper Adam Matysek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 43 minutes into the game, Iggi Kot cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Mauri Tervo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Adam Matysek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kustaa Esala in the 46th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Iggi Kot made a kick off. After some careless play in the Liverpool FC defense, Iggi Kot kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mauri Tervo. The Liverpool FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mauri Tervo should have stopped the shot. Pentti Multaharju hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Mauri Tervo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iggi Kot in the 57th minute of the match. Willem-Jan Dittman might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mauri Tervo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Willem-Jan Dittman ran back to his position shaking his head. Mauri Tervo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan Olisadebe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kustaa Esala sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Herkko Virolainen kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. 66 minutes into the match, Liverpool FC's goal looked a bit too open when Witomir Kochanowski came free, but Mauri Tervo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Herkko Virolainen during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 66th match minute, Liverpool FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herkko Virolainen to maneuver through the defense. When the referee ended the match the FC Gdansk36 players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
