Rasmus Højlund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 38 minutes into the match, GD Almargense's goal looked a bit too open when Décio Veiga came free, but Claudemiro Tristão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, COURO COME FC's goalkeeper Léo Sampaio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rasmus Højlund. In the 40th match minute, COURO COME FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lauro Guerra to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rasmus Højlund got free with Léo Sampaio in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Iuri Cardozo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Claudemiro Tristão was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. If Rasmus Højlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of COURO COME FC booed when GD Almargense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joško Gvardiol didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Celso Eiró stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Léo Sampaio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. 97 minutes into the match, Carlos Vides notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of COURO COME FC's Léo Sampaio. Léo Sampaio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. GD Almargense had won after a very even match.
