Spectators: 165 (Terracing: 124, Seating: 38, VIP seats: 3) Mark Chian blasted a shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Thibaut Courtois having to make a save. Thibaut Courtois made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mark Chian in the 4th minute of play. In the 5thth minute of the game Mark Chian who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GUSESI's Thibaut Courtois was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Azli Abisheganaden charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Azli Abisheganaden the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to NFH Family United getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Azli Abisheganaden hit a great ball. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind NFH Family United's goalkeeper Alexander Sum, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Steinar Stålhandske struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Alexander Sum didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GUSESI. Thibaut Courtois showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ang Chew in the 14th minute of the match. GUSESI's Thibaut Courtois played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mark Chian in the 15th minute of play. Steinar Stålhandske's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alexander Sum read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in GUSESI's zone, Ang Chew stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thibaut Courtois came out of the goal and Ang Chew tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. GUSESI's Thibaut Courtois played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ang Chew in the 31st minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, NFH Family United's goal looked a bit too open when Nemesio Lobo came free, but Alexander Sum reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jithu Rajah in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thibaut Courtois saved GUSESI from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jithu Rajah in the 39th minute of play forced GUSESI's goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thibaut Courtois came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by NFH Family United's Ang Chew. But to his dismay, Ang Chew quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1.

Thibaut Courtois made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jithu Rajah in the 52nd minute of play. Zack Tuan hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Alexander Sum took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steinar Stålhandske, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. NFH Family United's Jithu Rajah got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thibaut Courtois showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mark Chian, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Jithu Rajah hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. The supporters of NFH Family United booed when GUSESI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Steinar Stålhandske didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 83rd minute, Ang Chew left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The NFH Family United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. With a little luck, GUSESI's Thibaut Courtois got control of the ball when Ang Chew tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 96th match minute, NFH Family United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zack Tuan to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched NFH Family United eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
