In the 5th minute GUSESI were awarded a corner. Agustin Rego went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on GUSESI's corner Luis Tonete fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Lev Yashin quite easily take care of the ball. Jaime Tabor succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 8th playminute. Jaime Tabor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thibaut Courtois having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, GUSESI's goal looked a bit too open when Dimitri Nedellec came free, but Thibaut Courtois reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Clovis Janvier hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Thibaut Courtois stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Farid Verrecchia's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. With a little luck, GUSESI's Thibaut Courtois got control of the ball when Clovis Janvier tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 27 minutes of play, Le Stade Briochin UC's Jaime Tabor made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thibaut Courtois was left in no man's land by his defense there! Farid Verrecchia had several of the GUSESI's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 31 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Thibaut Courtois as he didn't even see the shot coming. If Benito Paulin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 37thth minute of the game Benito Paulin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Le Stade Briochin UC's Lev Yashin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lev Yashin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benito Paulin's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Thibaut Courtois showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime Tabor in the 43rd minute of the match. Andrzej Karaszkiewicz kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After a rather tough play, Le Stade Briochin UC's Anthony Lions got a free kick in the 50th minute. Lev Yashin acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 51st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Agustin Rego. 52 minutes into the match, GUSESI's goal looked a bit too open when Jaime Tabor came free, but Thibaut Courtois reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 57 minutes into the match, GUSESI's goal looked a bit too open when Farid Verrecchia came free, but Thibaut Courtois reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. GUSESI's Thibaut Courtois played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clovis Janvier in the 80th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benito Paulin got free with Lev Yashin in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 85th minute Farid Verrecchia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thibaut Courtois saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Le Stade Briochin UC's Clovis Janvier was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Thibaut Courtois in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When the match clock showed 87 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Clovis Janvier sped through GUSESI's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Thibaut Courtois. When Ovidio Favila came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the GUSESI fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ovidio Favila couldn't finish the play. Jaime Tabor hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match.
