Alonso Suloaga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Liu Ran Peng, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. After 8 played minutes GUSESI got a freekick which was hit by Edgard Kusko. Kanalla F.C's Silverio Ofelio got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alonso Suloaga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leandro Ederono in the 24th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leandro Ederono in the 27th minute of play forced Kanalla F.C's goalkeeper Alonso Suloaga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silverio Ofelio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Thibaut Courtois having to make a save. In the 29th minute Silverio Ofelio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thibaut Courtois saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silverio Ofelio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thibaut Courtois read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Kanalla F.C's zone, Leandro Ederono stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alonso Suloaga came out of the goal and Leandro Ederono tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Silverio Ofelio might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Thibaut Courtois. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Silverio Ofelio ran back to his position shaking his head.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ovidio Favila stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, GUSESI's goal looked a bit too open when Silverio Ofelio came free, but Thibaut Courtois reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 54 minutes into the match, Kanalla F.C's Silverio Ofelio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thibaut Courtois narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alonso Suloaga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ovidio Favila, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leandro Ederono recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kanalla F.C made a substitution. Alonzo Gaitan replaced Silverio Ofelio. In the 65th minute, Alonzo Gaitan made a precise shot to the right of Thibaut Courtois. GUSESI's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 68 minutes into the match, Alonzo Gaitan notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of GUSESI's Thibaut Courtois. Thibaut Courtois was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 72 minutes into the game, Leandro Ederono cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Alonso Suloaga was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alonzo Gaitan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 80th minute of the match Kanalla F.C got a corner. GUSESI's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bernardo Eladio ran over to the corner to take the kick. Esteve Mikelats got a throw-in 86 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Ovidio Favila. Edgard Kusko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Kanalla F.C's Alonso Suloaga got control of the ball when Liu Ran Peng tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alonso Suloaga was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ovidio Favila showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 96 minute of play. GUSESI were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
