Daniel Chaves stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Damian Dean's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. In the 26th match minute, Recolta Alamor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armen Gabrielyan to maneuver through the defense. Recolta Alamor's Grigore Proca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Idalécio Baldaia in the 27th minute of play. The corner ended in Gildo Marques almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Recolta Alamor's Grigore Proca did a great save. The Dragões Barbudos FC fans' excitement grew in the 29th match minute when Dragões Barbudos FC's Gildo Marques looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The referee ignored Dragões Barbudos FC's protests and gave David Stenkvist a yellow card for diving instead. In the 58th minute there was a penalty for Recolta Alamor. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pedro Augusto Coutinho got free with Grigore Proca in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Damian Dean might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Daniel Chaves. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
