Lionel-Andrés Messi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Grigore Proca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgard Elssen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Soulis Felegakis in the 20th minute of play forced Recolta Alamor's goalkeeper Grigore Proca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Drafi booed when Recolta Alamor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brandon Newby didn't get a good kick on the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Soulis Felegakis to make the kick off. Manolis Ntouvaris was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Boleslaw Kojder kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Grigore Proca made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Lionel-Andrés Messi sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Recolta Alamor defense, Chatziioannou Stavrakos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Grigore Proca. The Recolta Alamor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Grigore Proca should have stopped the shot. Lionel-Andrés Messi came free with the goalkeeper in the 98th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Grigore Proca could save by the left post. Drafi's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
