Eric Păvăloae fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Pontes having to interfere. When Eric Păvăloae came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Ninjas in Pyjamas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eric Păvăloae couldn't finish the play. 蔡银峰 might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cai Yue Guang. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. 蔡银峰 ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when 蔡银峰 got free with Cai Yue Guang in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eric Păvăloae's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alex Pontes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Costin Cârneci made in the 18th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Club do Inrrá's Edmílson Esteves. If Cícero Barral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 20 minutes into the match, Eric Păvăloae notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Club do Inrrá's Alex Pontes. Alex Pontes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 25 minutes into the match, Ninjas in Pyjamas's Eric Păvăloae sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alex Pontes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Club do Inrrá defense, Eric Păvăloae kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alex Pontes. The Club do Inrrá fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alex Pontes should have stopped the shot. Alex Pontes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eric Păvăloae, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cai Yue Guang came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Club do Inrrá's Cícero Barral. But to his dismay, Cícero Barral quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Alex Pontes came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Ninjas in Pyjamas's Eric Păvăloae. But to his dismay, Eric Păvăloae quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eric Păvăloae stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Luiz Eduardo Toscano fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club do Inrrá's protests and gave Luiz Eduardo Toscano a yellow card for diving instead. After 52 played minutes Club do Inrrá got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Eduardo Toscano. With a little luck, Club do Inrrá's Alex Pontes got control of the ball when Eric Păvăloae tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 67 played minutes Ninjas in Pyjamas got a freekick which was hit by Ştefan Istrăteanu. 70 minutes into the game, Club do Inrrá's 蔡银峰 nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cai Yue Guang made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. In the 84th match minute, Club do Inrrá was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cícero Barral to maneuver through the defense. 蔡银峰 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Club do Inrrá's Luiz Eduardo Toscano got his second yellow card of the match in the 87th minute. The referee ordered Luiz Eduardo Toscano off the ground. After a rather tough play, Club do Inrrá's Luiz Eduardo Toscano got a free kick in the 88th minute. Eric Păvăloae struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Alex Pontes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ninjas in Pyjamas. In the 94th minute Alexandru Negreanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Pontes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ninjas in Pyjamas's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
