The supporters of Ninjas in Pyjamas booed when Wesselbend was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mario Van den Plas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wesselbend's Jurgen Goris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Isăilă in the 18th minute of play. After 20 minutes of play, Ninjas in Pyjamas's Manuel Isăilă made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jurgen Goris was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Jonáš Baroš fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wesselbend's protests and gave Jonáš Baroš a yellow card for diving instead. With a little luck, Wesselbend's Jurgen Goris got control of the ball when Manuel Isăilă tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cai Yue Guang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dan Van Hemel in the 30th minute of the match. Cai Yue Guang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Everardo Huguet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manuel Isăilă might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jurgen Goris. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Manuel Isăilă ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Wesselbend's Jurgen Goris got control of the ball when Manuel Isăilă tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 39th minute, Manuel Isăilă made a precise shot to the right of Jurgen Goris. Wesselbend's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Alexandru Negreanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The wind increased when Manuel Isăilă made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Ninjas in Pyjamas's goal looked a bit too open when Benard Ngamta came free, but Cai Yue Guang reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jurgen Goris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Isăilă in the 56th minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Manuel Isăilă ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jurgen Goris was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. After 70 played minutes Wesselbend got a freekick which was hit by Grégoire Caamaño. Wesselbend's Jurgen Goris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Isăilă in the 72nd minute of play. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Wesselbend's goalkeeper Jurgen Goris, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mario Van den Plas made in the 75th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Ninjas in Pyjamas's Ştefan Istrăteanu. 77 minutes into the game, Ninjas in Pyjamas's Manuel Isăilă nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jurgen Goris made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. 81 minutes into the match, Ninjas in Pyjamas's Manuel Isăilă sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jurgen Goris narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jurgen Goris didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Manuel Isăilă went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Jurgen Goris stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Manuel Isăilă's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Manuel Isăilă took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jurgen Goris. Jurgen Goris dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Wesselbend's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
