The audience was convinced that Cícero Barral's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Viktor Häll was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cícero Barral in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Viktor Häll saved NovaStella FK from getting behind. The supporters of NovaStella FK booed when Club do Inrrá was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. 蔡银峰 didn't get a good kick on the ball. Reine Lidberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alex Pontes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Reine Lidberg ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cícero Barral in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Viktor Häll saved NovaStella FK from getting behind. Viktor Häll stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cícero Barral's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Cícero Barral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Viktor Häll took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cícero Barral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Arif Çelebi Ergener took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Alex Pontes to make any attempt to save it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 蔡银峰 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
