In the 18th minute Iulian Berceanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Long Sen Jing saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, La Tribuna Tambien Juega's goal looked a bit too open when Dumitru Purcărete came free, but Long Sen Jing reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute, Albino Silbestre reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Glenn Fyfe. The goal made the score 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as La Tribuna Tambien Juega's Albino Silbestre slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Glenn Fyfe. That made the score 2-0 after 45 minutes of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell James Batistuta to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Amador Martxel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 55th minute Albino Silbestre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Glenn Fyfe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of La Tribuna Tambien Juega booed when A4p FC Gad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. James Batistuta didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ciriaco Emenon in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Glenn Fyfe saved A4p FC Gad from getting behind. La Tribuna Tambien Juega's Long Sen Jing played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by James Batistuta in the 69th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by King Scorpio in the 71st minute of play forced La Tribuna Tambien Juega's goalkeeper Long Sen Jing to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rd minute, Albino Silbestre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A4p FC Gad's Erasmo Damião was substituted for Amador Martxel. A4p FC Gad made a substitution.
