The goal made the score 1-0. 7 minutes into the game, Quentin Gonzalez recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Humberto Cutberto. Quentin Gonzalez showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Humberto Cutberto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leopoldo de Queiroz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pink Floyd's Humberto Cutberto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Pink Floyd from getting a goal against them. Humberto Cutberto came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Atlético Maravilla's Dionisio Hidalgo. But to his dismay, Dionisio Hidalgo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 16th minute, Quentin Gonzalez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dionisio Hidalgo had several of the Pink Floyd's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 18 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 4-0 score and a disappointed Humberto Cutberto as he didn't even see the shot coming. Aniceto Campello might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Humberto Cutberto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aniceto Campello ran back to his position shaking his head. Aniceto Campello could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Humberto Cutberto made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aniceto Campello in the 29th minute of play forced Pink Floyd's goalkeeper Humberto Cutberto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pink Floyd's Humberto Cutberto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aniceto Campello in the 32nd minute of play. Ovidio Lastur kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Quentin Gonzalez dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Humberto Cutberto, 5-0. Atlético Maravilla's Cordairo Segura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristobal Lizer in the 40th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Quentin Gonzalez in the 42nd minute of play forced Pink Floyd's goalkeeper Humberto Cutberto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Pink Floyd's Osvaldo Serafo got a free kick in the 43rd minute. After 44 played minutes Pink Floyd got a freekick which was hit by Roger Waters. Humberto Cutberto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Quentin Gonzalez, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cristobal Lizer made a kick off. In the 52nd minute Leopoldo de Queiroz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto Cutberto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 53 minutes into the match, Pink Floyd's goal looked a bit too open when Aniceto Campello came free, but Humberto Cutberto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Pink Floyd's Cristobal Lizer got a free kick in the 54th minute. In the 58th minute, Leopoldo de Queiroz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Humberto Cutberto was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. 61 minutes into the match, Pink Floyd's goal looked a bit too open when Aniceto Campello came free, but Humberto Cutberto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 66 played minutes Pink Floyd got a freekick which was hit by Leo Tebaldo. Humberto Cutberto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dionisio Hidalgo, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Humberto Cutberto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isi Courtois, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Humberto Cutberto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dionisio Hidalgo in the 75th minute of play. The supporters of Atlético Maravilla booed when Pink Floyd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horacio Carbonari didn't get a good kick on the ball. Atlético Maravilla's Tamer Özguner was substituted for Herminio March. A collision led to Pink Floyd getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Horacio Carbonari hit a great ball. Humberto Cutberto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Quentin Gonzalez went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. In the 83rd minute, Aniceto Campello ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Humberto Cutberto was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. Humberto Cutberto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aniceto Campello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 90 minutes into the game, Leopoldo de Queiroz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-0. Humberto Cutberto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 93rd minute, Quentin Gonzalez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 95th minute, Leopoldo de Queiroz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atlético Maravilla fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 10-0. Atlético Maravilla walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
