The audience thought a goal was coming when Eduard De Fretes got free with Delmar Jakes in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 20 minutes into the match, Feliciano Lope had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Chinto Espinoza. Sportivo Chupeño's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Feliciano Lope was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Delmar Jakes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francis Stuart in the 22nd minute of play. When Tino Abeijon came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Sportivo Chupeño fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tino Abeijon couldn't finish the play. Delmar Jakes was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Zacarias Abajas showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 29 minute of play. Chinto Espinoza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elvio Mogel, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francis Stuart in the 33rd minute of play forced Yo Soy Tu Padre's goalkeeper Delmar Jakes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute Tino Abeijon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delmar Jakes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chinto Espinoza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feliciano Lope in the 40th minute of play. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Teobaldo Venerando made the kick off in the second half. 61 minutes into the match, Yo Soy Tu Padre's goal looked a bit too open when Francis Stuart came free, but Delmar Jakes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tino Abeijon took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Delmar Jakes. Delmar Jakes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. If Francis Stuart had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sportivo Chupeño's goalkeeper Chinto Espinoza, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 78 minutes into the match, Yo Soy Tu Padre's goal looked a bit too open when Palmiro Noronha came free, but Delmar Jakes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Yo Soy Tu Padre's Feliciano Lope got a free kick in the 80th minute. Eduard De Fretes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Delmar Jakes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Yo Soy Tu Padre defense, Eduard De Fretes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Delmar Jakes. The Yo Soy Tu Padre fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Delmar Jakes should have stopped the shot. Yo Soy Tu Padre's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
