Balkes FC's Xamo Viladrosa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Balkes FC from getting a goal against them. In the 18th match minute, Balkes FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elazar Cambas to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, Atlético Maravilla's Xamo Viladrosa threw himself towards the right post 19 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Isi Courtois, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Balkes FC's Xamo Viladrosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aniceto Campello in the 51st minute of play. Xamo Viladrosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elano Terra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Balkes FC defense, Quentin Gonzalez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Xamo Viladrosa. The Balkes FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Xamo Viladrosa should have stopped the shot.
