Jonas Pihlgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bai Jun Chong in the 8th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, Szombathely Squirrels's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Wiatr came free, but Arnold Szuper reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Szombathely Squirrels booed when Fotbollens Lakejer BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zebastian Gunnarsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lei Jian Xiong in the 12th minute of play forced Fotbollens Lakejer BK's goalkeeper Jonas Pihlgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tivadar Demeter in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonas Pihlgren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 15 minutes of play Fotbollens Lakejer BK's Zebastian Gunnarsson was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Zebastian Gunnarsson kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Jonas Pihlgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lei Jian Xiong in the 20th minute of play. Robert Wiatr hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Fotbollens Lakejer BK's Jonas Pihlgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lei Jian Xiong in the 24th minute of play. Jonas Pihlgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tivadar Demeter in the 26th minute of the match. Ola Nyman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Arnold Szuper made a huge save. Fotbollens Lakejer BK's Jonas Pihlgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tivadar Demeter in the 35th minute of play. If Tivadar Demeter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonas Pihlgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lei Jian Xiong, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 40th minute, Tivadar Demeter made a precise shot to the right of Jonas Pihlgren. Fotbollens Lakejer BK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Fotbollens Lakejer BK's Jonas Pihlgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lei Jian Xiong in the 44th minute of play. Szombathely Squirrels's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bai Jun Chong in the 45th minute. In the 46th match minute, Szombathely Squirrels was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luciano Aued to maneuver through the defense. The Fotbollens Lakejer BK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Szombathely Squirrels were winning 0-4.

In the 59th minute, Kjell Lundström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arnold Szuper was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. A hard shot 64 in the game by Lei Jian Xiong from a close distance when the talented Jonas Pihlgren managed to make a qualified save. Fotbollens Lakejer BK's players were relieved. Jonas Pihlgren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lei Jian Xiong in the 65th minute. Fotbollens Lakejer BK's Jonas Pihlgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tivadar Demeter in the 68th minute of play. Fotbollens Lakejer BK's Jonas Pihlgren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Fotbollens Lakejer BK from getting a goal against them. 73 minutes into the game, Tivadar Demeter cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-6. The Fotbollens Lakejer BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonas Pihlgren should have stopped the shot. In the 80th match minute, Szombathely Squirrels was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tivadar Demeter to maneuver through the defense. Tivadar Demeter could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Jonas Pihlgren made a huge save. 90 minutes into the game, Szombathely Squirrels's Lei Jian Xiong nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonas Pihlgren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-9. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lei Jian Xiong got free with Jonas Pihlgren in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice moves Lei Jian Xiong could shoot a difficult shot in the 94th minute, which Jonas Pihlgren however easily saved by the left post.
